Dr. Singla specializes in Mohs micrographic surgery, and medical and cosmetic dermatology. A native North Carolinian, he obtained a bachelor of science degree from East Carolina University as part of a combined bachelor of science/doctor of medicine program, graduating summa cum laude.

Subsequently, he obtained his medical degree from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University and was awarded the Albert Schweitzer Fellowship in recognition for his service to the community. He completed his internal medicine internship at Vidant Medical Center before moving to St. Louis to complete his specialty training in dermatology at Washington University. Afterwards, he completed his fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at UNC Chapel Hill, where he received extensive training in minimally invasive surgical removal of skin cancers and facial reconstruction. Dr. Singla is an active member of the dermatology community, having volunteered at multiple local skin cancer screenings, as well as publishing and presenting research at several national conferences. He is a frequent contributor to the Dermatology News and American Academy of Dermatology’s Dialogues in Dermatology publications. In his spare time, Dr. Singla enjoys biking, tennis, and photography.
