Dr. Daniel Ness's Retirement
I will be retiring from the practice of medicine and from Piedmont Plastic Surgery and Dermatology on May 31. When I started this practice with 2 employees in the summer of 1994 I had no idea of the changes that would occur over the next three decades. To make a very long story short, we now have nearly 50 providers in 11 locations. This type of transformation requires a highly skilled and dedicated team and in that regard I have been incredibly fortunate.
The group of partner physicians and other providers in our practice is nothing short of incredible. It has been an amazing experience to work alongside such a talented group of people and their outstanding skill level and commitment to excellent patient care has been an inspiration to me. However, we providers would be lost without our staff, a group of highly skilled individuals who form the backbone of our team at PPSD and make everything function better. Words cannot express my appreciation to this incredible group of people. Their support and camaraderie has meant so much to me over the years. They will be missed.
Finally, and above all, the patients. I have spent a significant majority of my career in our Gastonia location. This has always been a great place to practice medicine and the kind words, cards and best wishes of so many people since I announced my retirement have really clarified just how lucky I was to have had the incredible fortune to practice in this community. Thank you for everything and I wish all of you and your families nothing but the best.
With great appreciation, Daniel T Ness, MD
