Dr. Bolick is a dermatologist specializing in general dermatology with interests in skin cancer prevention, cutaneous oncology, and dermatologic public health. She is from Hickory, North Carolina and graduated from Hickory High School. Sheobtained her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from North Carolina State University. She then completed a Master’s of Science in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University before obtaining her medical degree from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University where she graduated with a distinction in research. While in medical school she also obtained a Master’s of Public Health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
Her internship training was completed at East Carolina University/Vidant Medical Center. Before starting dermatology residency, she completed a research fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center specializing in Cutaneous Lymphoma and Oncodermatology. Her dermatology training was at the University of New Mexico and during her final year of residency she was Chief Resident.
Dr. Bolick enjoys volunteering at skin cancer screenings and has published multiple dermatology manuscripts as well as presented research at national conferences. Dr. Bolick joined Piedmont Plastic Surgery & Dermatology in 2025 and is excited to be back in North Carolina to provide dermatologic care in her home community. Her hobbies include spending time with her family and dog, cooking, gardening, reading, and attending concerts.
