Sanaya is a board-certified physician assistant with a lifelong passion for Dermatology. Sanaya is originally from the Atlanta area, where she attended the University of Georgia for her undergraduate degree, graduating with honors. Sanaya received her master's in physician assistant studies at Wingate University in the greater Charlotte area. Additionally, Sanaya has completed the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants Fellowship program.
Sanaya has trained in both medical as well as cosmetic dermatology including specific training in dermatologic surgery as well as in hair restoration since 2017. Her clinical interests include skin cancer prevention and surveillance, management of biologic therapy, and designing cosmeceutical regimens for her patients. She regularly attends dermatology conferences and reads dermatology journals to remain current with advances in her field of medicine. Sanaya values patient care with the utmost importance, her goal is for every patient to feel a part of their medical decision-making process. Sanaya strives to ensure that all her patients feel confident in the skin they are in and that they are being well cared for.
In her free time, Sanaya likes to practice hot yoga, spend time with her husband, and explore all the new places Charlotte has to offer near their home in Plaza Midwood.
